Q. Who takes care of the Pratt County Fair?
A. The Pratt County Fair Association, located in the Pratt County Extension Office at 824 W First St, Pratt, KS.

Q. Who is in charge of the 4-H program?
A. The Pratt County Extension Office -- Both of the County Extension Agents help with the 4-H program.

Q. How can I join 4-H?
A. The Pratt County Extension Office can give you a list of County 4-H Clubs, when and where they meet, and who to contact. You then can visit the clubs you are interested in and choose which club to join.

Q. Who is in charge of the Homemakers' Education Units?
A. Jodi Drake, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, takes care of the H.E.U. program in Pratt County.

Q. Where can I order trees?
A. The Pratt County Extension Office has order forms from the Kansas Forest Service in Manhattan. The orders are placed directly with the Kansas Forest Service and can either be delivered to your home or picked up in Manhattan.

Q. Where do I get my soil tested?
A. Soil sample bags and instructions can be obtained from the Pratt County Extension Office. Once the sample has been gathered, you can bring it back to the Extension Office, and we will send it to Manhattan for testing. The results will then be sent to our office, and Mark Ploger, the County Extension Agent, will contact you with the results.

Q. How do I get my water tested?
A. Water test kits can be obtained from the Pratt County Extension Office. The kits contain instructions and a mailing label so that you can send the test in yourself.

Q. Where can I go for Day Care Provider information?
A. Jean Clarkson-Frisbie, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, can assist you with this information. The Pratt County Extension Office also has a variety of videos that can be checked out and that count for two hours of in-service training.

Q. Where can I go for farmers' tax information?
A. The Pratt County Extension Office has free Farmer's Tax guides, as well as Farm Account Books and Household Account Books that are $2.65 each.

Q. Where can I find information on Pesticide Applicator Licenses?
A. Mark Ploger , County Agricultural Agent, can assist you with information on both private and commercial applicator licenses. He also has information on how to obtain a chemigation license.

Q. How can I find information on what to do if my freezer quits?
A. Jodi Drake can assist you in how to evaluate the status of the frozen items and what to do with them.

Q. How can I find information about soil and stain removal?
A. Jodi Drake can help with products and procedures for stain removal.
