Hoary Cress

Hoary cress is not currently found in Pratt County, but is actively growing in Northeastern Kansas. It is a perennial that reproduces by rhizomes, extensive root system and seeds.

Appearance

The plant grows up to 2 feet tall and have many white flowers with four petals, and each flower is clustered into groups.

Control

Cultural control methods have not yet been developed and there are no approved biological control methods.

Treatment

Chemical control of Hoary Cress includes:

  • 2.4-D LV Ester
  • Dicamba
  • Metsulfuron methyl
